Executive Board

Co-Chief Justice Sarah Herman (she/her)

Year & Program: 3L Full-Time Student

I graduated in 2021 with a BA in History from The Ohio State University and started my career at Capital a year later. I was first drawn to Moot Court as a way to step outside of my comfort zone and I ended up falling love with the whole experience. I enjoy the competitive environment, the new experiences with different types of law, and the friendships I formed with my teammates and coaches.

Last year I traveled to Brooklyn to compete with Capital's ABA team and participated on the board as Clerk to the Co-Chief Justices.

Co-Chief Justice Emily Cobb (she/her)

Year & Program: 3L Full-Time Student

I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2018 with my B.S., and worked as a paralegal for three years before starting at Capital in the evening division. I joined the Moot Court program in my 2L year because it's a great opportunity to sharpen my legal reasoning, writing, and oral advocacy skills. The ability to craft a coherent argument and think on your feet to answer questions are skills that will serve every law student well, and Moot Court is a supportive and safe place to develop those skills.

Last year I was a member of the Family Law team, and I look forward to hosting the competition this year.
